Your privacy, in plain language.
We don’t collect data directly, and we never collect anything from children. Here’s exactly what that means, and what actually happens when you buy something from us.
The short version: Home & School AI doesn’t run accounts, logins, or a checkout system. This website exists to show you what’s available. Every purchase happens on Etsy or on Amazon, and those platforms handle your payment and order information under their own privacy policies — we never see or store your card details. We don’t collect personal information from anyone through this site, and we never collect anything from a child.
What this website does and doesn’t do
This site is informational. There are no user accounts, no logins, no comment sections, and no forms on it that collect personal information. Its job is to describe our guides, toolkits, prompt packs, and templates, and to send you to the marketplace where you can actually buy one.
Because of that, this site itself does not know who you are, does not build a profile of you, and has nothing to sell or share, because it has nothing to sell or share from.
Information handled by third parties
When you buy a product, the transaction happens entirely on a third-party platform, and that platform’s privacy policy governs what happens to your information from that point on:
- Etsy processes the order, payment, and any buyer messages for our digital and print listings. See Etsy’s Privacy Policy.
- Amazon processes orders for paperback and Kindle editions, including payment, shipping (for paperbacks), and your Amazon account information. See Amazon’s Privacy Notice.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site. Loading a web font involves a standard request to Google’s servers, which can include basic technical information like your IP address. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
We don’t control what these third parties do with your information, and we encourage you to read their policies if you have questions about a specific purchase or platform. We are not paid a referral fee for pointing you toward either one, and neither company shares your personal purchase details back to us beyond what’s needed to sell the item itself.
Children’s privacy
Home & School AI does not collect personal information from anyone through this site, and it collects nothing at all from children, under 13 or otherwise. Our products are guides, toolkits, and templates written for the adult responsible for a child — a parent or an educator — not services a child uses, logs into, or submits information to directly.
If a school or district needs a formal data-privacy compliance certification before sharing educator-facing material with families, we haven’t made that claim, and we won’t until a real review has confirmed it. Nothing in our catalog requests or requires student education records.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set its own cookies and does not run analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes in the future — for example, if we add basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful — we’ll update this policy first and post the change prominently, not quietly.
If you contact us directly
If you email us, we’ll have your email address and whatever you chose to write to us. We use it only to respond to you. We don’t add it to a marketing list without telling you plainly first, we don’t sell it, and we don’t share it with anyone outside our own team.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will appear on this page with a new “last updated” date. We correct and update published material openly, not by quietly editing it away.
